View on SteamShort: Turn any song into a 360° racing tunnel and ride inside the music. Bring your own tracks or pick from 110+ built-in songs. Race for the score, learn every track, or just cruise the flow.
Long: Ever wanted to ride inside a song? Rhythm Racer turns any track into a 360° racing tunnel and drops you inside it. Every beat, bass drop and build-up shapes the world around you. You're not listening to the music — you're flying through it.
Pick a song and the game builds a unique tube from the audio — bass, drums and melody all shape the track. Twelve neon-lit lanes wrap around you. Move through them to gather gems and slip past obstacles, all in time with the music. The same song always builds the same track, so nothing is random. Learn the flow, find your line, and make it yours.
Race for the high score, cruise through extended playlists, download and race other players' ghosts from the Steam leaderboards, grab three friends for split-screen couch races, or turn your Twitch chat into live racers with Stream Mode. With 20+ ships, deep tube customization, and 110+ built-in original tracks, Rhythm Racer is a game where your own music becomes a place.
Rhythm Racer entered Early Access on 14 August 2026 and is expected to remain there for approximately three to six months.
What's in it now: the Early Access build is fully playable and substantial — 110+ built-in tracks, support for the player's own music, single-player score chasing, 2–4 player local split-screen, AI opponents across multiple difficulty levels, Cruise Mode, Stream Mode, ship and tube customization, 42 Steam Achievements, per-song leaderboards and ghost racing.
What's being explored for 1.0: a new action-focused mode built around shooting targets, hazards or enemies while travelling through the music-generated tube; a significant expansion of Stream Mode covering more viewer-controlled ships, joining and queue controls, additional chat commands and privileges for channel supporters; and difficulty options built on systems that already vary obstacle density, gem frequency, reaction time and speed. None of these are finalised — which of them ship, and in what form, is being decided with the community through the Steam Community Hub.
Pricing: Rhythm Racer is sold at a lower price during Early Access. The price is planned to rise at version 1.0 to reflect the content added, and any increase will be announced in advance.
